Abstract

The effect of the neglect of the kinetic energy term in isothermal model internal ballistics has been discussed. The adjustments to be made in the parameters have been worked out. It has been shown that either M is to be increased by about 18.7%for tubular charges and by about 17.7%for cord charges or theta is to be decreased by about 16.0%.
