Effect of Radiation on Shock Structure When Temperature is Not Very High

Abstract
An approximate analytical solution, which gives the distribution of flow variables in terms of optical thickness from the embedded shock when P<P* has been botained. The jump in the flow variable across the embedded shock has also been obtained. Numerical results are given for six sets of velues of M and P.
