Analytic Solution, Viscous DissipationAbstract
An analytic solution of the energy equation is obtained for a non-isothermal disc rotating in an incompressible fluid at rest neglecting the viscous dissipation. Initially the disc and the fluid are at a common temperature. Without altering the velocity, the disc temperature is then changed and maintained at temperature varying according to the power law of radial distance. Expressions for temperature distribution in the fluid for large and small times have been evaluated.Downloads
