Analyses of Magnetic Field Induced around a Tank

Abstract

A tank is taken to have the shape of a hollow spheroid. Equations for calculating the induced field are derived based on a special coordinate system established around the spheroid. A numerical example to illustrate the magnetic field induced around a tank and its analyses are given.

Mr Ma Xiaojun got his MS from the Beijing Vehical Engineering Institute, China, in 1988. Presently,he is doing his phD from the Beijing Vehicle Engineering Institute, China.
Xie Yongcheng, Special Vehicle Engineering Institute, Beijing
Mr Xie Yongcheng graduated from the Beijing Vehicle Engineering Institute, China , in 1987. Now, he is Associate Professor at the Beijing Vehicle Engineering Institute, China.
