Abstract

The effect of symmetry on the physical properties of textures which possess conventional and magnetic limiting point group symmetries is discussed. Formulae to obtain the number of independent components of different magnetic property tensors in such materials and the result obtained in respect pyromagnetism, magneto-electric polarizability and piezomagnetism are given.
