Autoradiographic Technique in Contamination Control
Keywords:
Routine survey meters, Decontaminating procedures
Abstract
For detecting extremely low levels of contamination, autoradiography offers a simple method which is a hundred times more sensitive than usual survey meters. Used in conjuction with routine survey meters, autoradiography of swipes taken from laboratory areas of contamination will be a useful, sensitive, long-term monitor. The technique can also be used for assessing the efficiency of different decontaminating procedures.
