Instability of an Infinite Homogeneous Rotating Medium in Presence of a Magnetic Field

In the present paper the necessary and sufficient condition for the gravitational instability of a homogeneous rotating medium in presence of a magnetic field has been discussed. The medium is assumed to have finite electrical conductivity and viscosity. The criteria for stability comes out to be the Jeans criteria.Downloads
