Fredholm integral equations, Stress distributionAbstract
The problem of determining stress distribution in a thin circular elastic plate containing unsymmetrical cruciform crack is considered. The faces of the crack are subjected to different internal pressures. The problem is reduced to a pair of dual integral equations. These equations. are further reduced to simultaneous. Fredholm integral equations of the second kind which are solved numerically. Quantities of physical interest are calculated.Downloads
