On a Functional Equation in Two and Three Variables with Measures of Kind Beta in Information Theory

Abstract

Starting from a functional equation of two variables containing a parameter Beta, the information of kind Beta given have been obtained. The paper contains a characterization and properties of this measure. Also the study has been extended of the information improvement of the prediction probability distribution (q/Sub1,q/Sub2,..q/subn) revised as (r/Sub1,.r/Sub2..r/Subn) on the basis of realization (p/Sub1,p/sub2,....p/Subn).
