Bending of an Isotropic Compressible Rectangular Block into a Parabolic Shell

AbstractThe problem of bending of an isotropic compressible rectangular block into a parabolic shell has been solved. It is shown the deformation can be maintained by applying forces and couples to the edges of the shell only.
