Ekman Layer on a Porous Plate in Slip Flow Regime

Abstract

The rotating flow of a viscous liquid on a porous plate with velocity slip at the wall is studied. Expressions for the velocity field and the skin friction have been obtained analytically. The effects of rotation and the rarefaction parameters on the flow and on the skin friction are discussed.
