Abstract

The practice of sampling has always existed in the history of man’s life. When a house- wife purchases an article for her use she is essentially drawing is sample out of a lot , A single article is selected out of the so many with more or less similar characteristics the purchaser aims at picking the article as much similar  to the standard one as possible. This exactly is the basic idea of sampling.
