Abstract

Dynamic responses of layered arch structure composed of different materials subjected to blast loading are analysed by numerical simulation. The deflection, the particle velocity and the particle acceleration of the arch inwall and stress curves versus time are obtained comparing properties of blast resistance of different arch structures with the same amount of charge. The results show that the arch structure composed of foam concrete-SFRC-steel has good blast resistance. furthermore, the dynamic performance of the foam concrete-SFRC-steel composite structures is studied with different amount of charge. Additionally, coupling relationship of blast resistance and explosion charge is analysed. Comparison of numerical results with experimental results, show that they are in good agreement. This numerical analysis may provide important guidance for blastresistant design and analysis of underground structures.
