Of the two methods, used for the collection of dust, the deposit gauge recorded fall than the Glass Trough. The intensity of dustfall is not uniform throughout the year and can be tentatively divided into low, medium high and peak periods. In 1963, the calculated dustfall amounted to over 356 metric tons over a sq. km. surface. The water insolubles are high and variable. The cations Ca++, Na++, K+ and the anion cl- were measured in the water soluble fractions of the dust. The order of cationic fall is Ca++>Na++<="" font=""> ER -
