Abstract

An ontology defines a common vocabulary for researchers who need to share information in a specific domain. It includes interoperability of basic concepts in the domain and relations among them. The present paper takes a brief overview of different tools and methods for developing ontologies, their relationship with artificial intelligence, followed by a review of literature on the same. Method for developing an ontology on energy amplifiers is discussed in brief.http://dx.doi.org/10.14429/djlit.31.2.860
