Assessing Information Literacy Competence among the Undergraduate Students of College of Agriculture, Raichur: A Case Study
Abstract
With the increasing complexity in agriculture education due to the technological developments, developing information literacy competency in students for life-long learning should be the vital element of agriculture education. In this study, an attempt has been made to know the information literacy competency
among the undergraduate students of College of Agriculture, Raichur (Karnataka, India). Questionnaire method was used for data collection and results are tabulated and analysed. Outcome of the study has been discussed and necessary suggestions have been made on the basis of the results for implementing
proper information literacy competency programmes in the College.
