Abstract

Multimedia presentations have become a favourite medium for conveying ideas, messages, project reports, products’ information; describing marketing strategy; presenting annual growth, and so on in business/commercial houses. It is also being used a lot in academics and entertainment. Definitely the addition of multimedia effects certainly gives lively and interactive appearance to any presentation. This article describes application of multimedia and use of it in libraries. The various aspects of managing a multimedia presentation are discussed in detail. Planning is one of the most important part in management of any activity. The various other factors like analysis, design, development, implementation during the preparation of any multimedia presentation to be considered are discussed. Organising the multimedia team is also a very important part of management of any multimedia activity. Its various members and their roles are described.
