Abstract

The term publishing include all processes involved in producing a book, a journal, a report, conference proceedings or any others document in print for distribution to readers either by annual subscription, priced copy or free. In short, the journey of a manuscript from author to reader can loosely be called publishing .in traditional publishing the author prepares the manuscript ,the typist types it again, if there are more changes in it. Then the final manuscript moves to the printing where it is composed either manually or on machine, the proofs are proof-read for spelling mistakes or any other type of errors in composing, the artist finalises the page layout and prepares camera-ready copy and finally the printer prints it.
