Building Website for Mobile Phone Users of an Indian Agriculture University Library: A Model

Abstract

Use of internet through mobile phones and smart phones has increased very fast all over the world.Looking at the increasing internet users of mobile phones, an attempt has been done to create a model ofwebsite for mobile phones users of University Library, GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology,Pantnagar. The paper includes simple steps to create the website for mobile phones and smart phones. Thereare various tools on Internet to create the websites for mobile phones. The Wirenode website tool has beenused on the basis of its simplicity and popularity to create this model website. The paper also includesinformation about the university library and its services. The model will be useful for Indian library professionalsto develop websites for their mobile phone users.
