DESIDOC Journal of Library and Information Technology (formerly DBIT) is a bimonthly journal that endeavours to bring recent developments in information technology, as applicable to library and information science, to the notice of academics, researchers, professionals and students and others interested in the field.
The Journal publish original research papers relating to information technology as applied to library activities, services and products. The articles published in the Bulletin are indexed in Library and Information Science Abstracts (LISA) and the Informed Librarian. The full text of DJLIT is being reproduced in electronic databases of HW Wilson Company, namely, OMNIFILE Full Text Select and OMNIFILE Full Text Mega.

| DESIDOC Journal of Library and Information Technology (DJLIT) in its endeavour to provide its readers current information on various information technologies having applications and prospects in the library and information science field, is planning to bring out Special Issues on the following subjects. Original ideas, theoretical or application-oriented papers and case studies in the context of the themes in the digital form may be sent by 30 November 2007 to the respective Guest Editors or to the Editor DJLIT. The paper will be published only after peer evaluation by the respective Guest Editor. |
