Defence Science Journal is a peer-reviewed, Open Access, primary research journal in the area of defence science & technology. The Journal is published bi-monthly by the Defence Scientific Information & Documentation Centre (DESIDOC), Delhi on the behalf of Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, India. It is brought out in the months of January, March, May, July, September, and November.
The Journal publishes research papers in various disciplines of science and technology which has direct Defence applications. The papers published in the Journal are covered by bibliographic/full-text databases/document supply services-Cambridge Scientific Abstracts, Chemical Abstracts, Elsevier bibliographic databases-(EMBASE, COMPENDEX, GEOBASE, EMBIOLOGY, ELSEVIER BIOBASE, FLUIDEX, WORLD TEXTILES, SCOPUS), Indian Science Abstracts, International Aerospace Abstracts, Thomson Scientific Database (ISI Web of Knowledge), HW Wilson Co. full-text databases (Omnifile Full-text Mega, Omnifile Full-text Select), and NTIS database (World News Connection).
