Abstract : Existing methods for the estimation of ammonium salts in presence of hydrolysable salts have been reviewed. A new titrimetric method utilizing formaldehyde and potassium fluoride is described for its estimation in presence of aluminium sulphate. The method is accurate and rapid for routine analysis. |
