Abstract : The four parameter Tietz's potential is examined for its ability to reproduce the potential curve and the anharmonocity constant in the case of all the electronic states of some selected diatomic molecules. It is shown, that the four parameter nature of the function gives significant improvement over the existing three-parameter functions. |
