 | Making and sale of collections of readings by educational institutions in Australia

Abstract : This article is the study of a test case instituted by the copyright Agency Limited (CAL), and twelve other applicants against the respondent, Victoria University of Technology (VUT), alleging that the respondent has breached its licence by compiling photocopies of parts of books into anthologies for sale to students. The principal objections and court's decision in this case have been given.
