Abstract : Publishing technology has brought the graphic communications industry to a new frontier which is one-to-one variable printing or personalised printing. The principle of one-to-one micro-communication is different from mass communication as the one-to-one communication identifies a recipient first and provides individualised information for that recipient. This communication process will improve the effectiveness of communication and will be the trend for the 21st century.
